Residents are being urged to take advantage of a free training course to help get them online.
Support is being offered by Contour Homes at an event at Preston Work Club next week.
Organised as part of National Get Online Week, residents can access help to improve computer skills and make the most of the internet – from shopping and accessing services, to applying for jobs and connecting with friends.
Residents can drop in on the taster session any time between 11.30am and 1.30pm on Wednesday, October 15 at Preston Work Club, Callon Office in Downing Street.
Andrew Lord of Contour Homes said: “We hope this course will help people to become more confident online and help to open up new opportunities for them. Contour Homes is involved in a series of activities as part of Get Online week, and we’d encourage anyone who would like to find out more to come along.”
