Online saves the day for church magazine

Church of England officials in Lancashire have switched their latest monthly magazine from print to online after being swamped with news.

The Blackburn Diocese’s January edition of The See is only going out on the internet this month - for only the second time ever - because there was too much information to fit in the normal paper version.

“We wanted to look back over 2013 and to take the opportunity to remind everyone just what a diverse and interesting organisation the Diocese is,” explained Ronnie Semley, the diocesan communications manager.

“The pagination of ‘The See’ just won’t allow an in-depth exploration of all our work. Even then (switching to online), we have only just scratched the surface of everything that has happened in the past 12 months!”

The new edition is available now in full colour on the Diocese website. Log on to http://www.blackburn.anglican.org/
