A growing Pentecostal church has moved to a new location.
The Potters House Christian Fellowship Church has moved to a purpose-built location on the first floor in Garstang Road, Preston, above the existing Dulux Decorator Centre and opposite Wickes. The church moves approximately 100 metres from its previous location of a converted office in Moor Lane thanks to congregation fund-raising.
The grand opening of the church’s new home took place last month and provides Pastor Daniel Leung and his 80-strong congregation with space for a large auditorium, a games area, classrooms, a café and Sunday school facilities.
Services at Potters House Church will take place throughout the week, including activities such as bible study, prayer meetings, music, youth games, football and lively gospel concerts.
Pastor Leung said: “The new places is 10 times the size, it is a lot bigger. We have grown from two people, just me and my wife, to around 90 at the opening. We had really outgrown the last premises, we were so full, we had to find somewhere bigger.”
The refurbishment of the 6,000 sq ft, first floor space has taken just a few months to complete since signing the new lease from the landlord ICI Dulux Decorator Centres with Robert Pinkus & Co. acting on behalf of the landlord.
