Employees had the opportunity to vote for a local charity of their choice, and the North West Air Ambulance Charity was lucky enough to be chosen.
Susan Milburn, business and banqueting manager at Ribby Hall Village, said: “We were amazed by the fact that the North West Air Ambulance is a charitable organisation and not funded by the government. The work they do is incredible and has inspired us all to help in whatever way we can. Our aim is to raise as much as money possible by the end of the year.”
Fundraising efforts have got off to a flying start, raising over £3,000 at the popular Daisy Chain Ball event in May.
Staff at the Ribby Hall Village near Preston have voted North West Air Ambulance as its charity of the year.
