Celebrate the Year of the Horse at the Harris Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday, February 1.

UCLan’s Confucius Institute is taking over the venue in Market Street for the festivities, which will run between 11am and 3.30pm.

There will be a range of free activities for all the family, from calligraphy and brush painting, to paper lantern making and Tai Chi.

Visitors can also take part in a a tea ceremony, learning a few words of Chinese, and getting up close to some traditional Chinese ceramics.
