A new boss has been appointed to help drive a bid to win £1m funding for Preston’s Winckley Square.
The city council was successful in the first stage of its bid for Heritage Lottery Funding for the square in April.
They have now announced Paul Crowther as the new project planning officer for the bid.
Paul, who has spent the last six years working on the management and delivery of Pendle Borough Council’s Whitefield THI programme, will now work with partner organisations ito develop detailed plans to apply for a full grant later in the year.
Paul said: “I am looking forward to working on this initiative.”
