A special astronomy evening at WWT Martin Mere wetland centre will be held next month.
WWT Martin Mere formed a partnership with Liverpool Astronomical Society and Astronomia to offer special astronomy evenings throughout the year, with the first taking place on November 15.
The event will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm, with telescopes available for visitors to discover the wonders of the solar system and beyond, as well as a series of special talks.
Experts from the Liverpool Astronomical Society will give two talks about “Our Place in Space” and “A Star’s Life” and Astronomia will present a “Tour of the Universe”.
The event is £5 per person and places must be pre-booked, by calling 01704 895181. Admission includes a free tea or coffee and the cafe will be open throughout the evening serving hot drinks.
