A hairdresser accused of stabbing her boyfriend in the chest with a bread knife has been found guilty of murder.

Terrie-Marie Palmer, 22, of Warton Avenue, told police Damon Searson had sustained the injury while they were play fighting with a carving knife they had bought that day.

But a jury at Preston Crown Court found her guilty of murder.

She is due to be sentenced by a judge at Preston Crown Court.
