Singers hoping to take part in a Come and Sing Messiah event at Fulwood Methodist Church, are being urged to contact the organisers.
Veronica Frost, who is helping with the event on Saturday, had her email account hacked and frozen, and has been worried about contacts.
She said: “It’s happened at the worst possible time, right when my address has gone out in the Preston Arts Festival programme.
“I have been unable to access emails, and so we really need singers interested in taking part to contact us again.
“This needs to be done before Wednesday so we know numbers.”
Anyone who is interested in taking part in the event should be a competent singer, ideally with previous experience of singing Handel’s Messiah.
Registration costs £15 per person, including a hot pot supper.
Singers will meet at 12.30pm on Saturday at the church in Watling Street Road, where there will be one rehearsal session before a performance at 7.30pm.
Veronica’s original email address of email@example.com should no longer be used.
Instead, those interested in taking part, are asked to use firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively call 01772 791107.
Audience tickets cost £5 for adults, and are free for children.
Tickets are available on the door, but organisers would prefer people to call the number above.
Already 60 singers are signed up to take part in the event.
