A doorman at McDonald’s in Lancaster was punched in the face by two men, police said.

It happened at around 1.30am. Two men entered the fast food restaurant but soon after one of the men was asked to leave by a member of the door staff.

As both men reached the main doors to leave, they pulled the member of door staff to the floor and punched him several times in the face, resulting in a cut to his head.

PC Stephen Kavanagh of Lancaster Police said: “We are keen to trace the two men pictured in the CCTV images and would urge them to come forward, or anyone with information about their identities to make contact with us as soon as possible.”
