THE mayors of Preston, South Ribble and Chorley visited St Catherine’s Hospice this week for the annual civic Christmas visit.

They met with staff, volunteers, patients and families and heard all about the good work done at the hospice.

The Lostock Hall hospice also held a Christmas jumper day yesterday to help with fundraising. Workers in offices across Lancashire were encouraged to join in the fun.
