Man taken to hospital after suffering medical episode at Buckshaw worksite

An air ambulance landed at Buckshaw Parkway railway station at around 1.15pm, with onboard medics rushing on foot to a nearby building site in Ordnance Road.
Paramedics in a rapid response unit and an ambulance also responded to the 999 call, with the man taken to Royal Preston Hospital by road.

Hide AdNorth West Ambulance Service described the man's condition as "serious", but were unable to provide further details. His current condition is not known.
British Transport Police officers at Buckshaw Parkway train station also rushed to the scene to assist with the emergency.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: "We got a call at 1.04pm regarding an incident in Ordnance Road.
We’ve mobilised an ambulance, air ambulance and rapid response vehicle to the scene.
"We’ve taken a patient to hospital by road in a serious condition."
