A 23-year-old man with a record of racially aggravated offences, was jailed by magistrates for threatening behaviour.

Luke James Johnson, of Willow Lane, Lancaster, pleaded guilty to a charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a man in the city.

The court heard the offence was racially aggravated and Johnson was jailed because he had previous convictions for racially aggravated crimes.
