Police were called to Greyhound Bridge on Saturday morning after a man in his twenties was found dead.

The man was found hanged on an area of Greyhound Bridge behind Sainsbury’s supermarket on Cable Street.

Crime Scene Investigation teams and police crews attended the scene shortly after 6.30am on Saturday December 12.

Greyhound Bridge was closed temporarily whilst emergency services attended.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been passed to the coroner.
