A man has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Lee Dunn, 43, of Monsall Drive, Macclesfield, is due to appear at Preston Crown Court on September 12.
The charge relates to the alleged planning of a robbery in September 2013, when £250,000 worth of jewellery was stolen from two men on the car park of Holiday Inn Express, Bamber Bridge.
Dunn was arrested in Croatia on July 18 and extradited to the UK from Zagreb and has now been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and bail offences.
He appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court on August 8 and will next appear before Preston Crown Court on September 12.
Five others are charged in connection with the robbery. They are Michael Lewis, 26 of Shaftesbury Gardens, Urmston, Manchester, Andrew Lewis, 28 of Norwood Drive, Timperley, Altrincham, Cheshire, Lee Jarvis, 35 of Fencegate Avenue, Stockport, James Jarvis, 41, of Donnison Street, Manchester and Shaun Flanagan, 57, of Charlestown Road, Manchester.
All of the above have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. They are bailed to appear at Crown Court on September 12.
A further man, Simon Parry, 34, of Hopefold Drive, Worsley, Manchester has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to the same offence.
