A pensioner has died from her injuries following a collision on the M55.
Joyce Livesey, 87, from Bolton, was a passenger in a Hyundai Getz when it was in collision with a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Zafira near to junction three of the Eastbound carriageway on January 30.
The pensioner died in Royal Preston Hospital earlier this week - after she suffered a broken arm and other injuries in the collision.
Mrs Livesey is the second person to die as a result of the incident.
Jean Watson, 82, from Horwich, near Bolton, was driving the car, and died from serious injuries in Royal Preston Hospital on the night of the collision.
The road was closed for more than seven hours for an investigation to take place.
