Lifeboats have been dispatched to help the crew of a 27ft yacht that ran aground in the River Ribble.
Liverpool Coastguard recived a call for help from the yacht at 6.20pm on Tuesday, and two lifeboats from Lytham were sent to help.
A Coastguard spokesman said: “The yacht started to take on water and ran aground at the entrance of the River Ribble, near Preston.
“The lifeboats were able to free the vessel, pump out the water, and pull it back out up the river where it will be moored.”
Four people were on board the yacht, but no injuries have been reported.
