A WOMAN was freed from a car after a crash involving three vehicles.
Firefighters were called to the incident, near the Lea Gate pub in Blackpool Road, Lea, Preston, at around 5.40pm on Tuesday.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the woman was trapped in one of the cars and had to be released by a crew using cutters, spreaders and lighting equipment.
The woman’s injuries were not thought to have been serious but she was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
