More school closures have been announced as snow continues to fall.
Brinscall St John’s Church of England Primary School and Rivington Foundation Primary School in Chorley have been shut.
In Lancaster, Cawthorne’s Endowed School, Quernmore Church of England Primary School, Tatham Fells Primary School and Wray with Bolton Primary School, will also be closed.
Drivers are advised to travel with care as snowfall is expected to continue across the county today, and will continue to fall into the weekend.
