Wallace and Gromit flower display in Preston
An award-winning Wallace and Gromit flower display now has pride of place in a Preston florist.
The city's parks department won gold with the entry at this year's Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show at Tatton Park.
Margaret Mason, who runs the Friargate florists, said: "It would have
been a shame if they had ended up in a cardboard box. It will be the in the shop for a few weeks.
"We should be proud of Alan Rampling and his team. A lot of people were not able to go to Tatton and customers who come in the shop are intrigued by it – especially the little ones."
