A vandal who got upset with his former girlfriend and smashed a window on two occasions was identified each time by his voice.
Witnesses said they had heard Daniel Hoskinson outside their homes in Blackpool when the windows were broken.
Hoskinson, unemployed, aged 28, of Lancaster Road North, Preston, pleaded guilty to two offences of damage.
He was ordered to pay £380 compensation by Blackpool magistrates who imposed no other penalty.
Prosecutor, Tracy Yates, said on June 8 a window at a man’s home was smashed with a brick, The householder then heard Hoskinson’s voice in the rear alley. Hours later Hoskinson arrived at the address again and threatened to break another window, claiming his ex was ignoring him.
On June 30 Hoskinson’s voice was heard outside his ex’s mother’s home, before he broke a window there.
David Charnley, defending, said at the time Hoskinson was having problems with a former girlfriend. He was drunk on both occasions he caused the damage, but had now sorted out his drink problem.
