The death of a 37-year-old woman who died after being found collapsed in a flat in Leyland is no longer being treated as suspicious, police say.
Lisa Thornley, of Leyland Lane, Leyland, died in the early hours of Friday morning sparking a police investigation.
She was found at a flat at the Cedar Court sheltered accommodation complex on East Street, Leyland, around 10.30pm on Thursday and later died.
A spokesman for Lancashire Constabulary today said the death continues to be treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A 32-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of assault on Friday, has been released without charge, police said.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: “Police are awaiting the post mortem results.
“There is not believed to any suspicious circumstances at this time but the investigation continues.”
