Unpaid work for breaking order

editorial image

A teenager has been sentenced to 14 hours of unpaid work after breaking the terms of his community order.

Matthew Strange, 19, of Neath Close, Walton-le-Dale, Preston, admitted failing to comply with an order made by South Ribble Magistrates’ Court in April this year.

He pleaded guilty to failing to report to a probation officer last month.

Strange was also ordered by magistrates to pay court costs of £50.
