Three South Ribble councillors have announced they are standing down, sparking by-elections.
Leyland St Mary’s Coun Mike McNulty is stepping after nine years on the borough council.
He was vice-chairman of the council’s former grants committee between 2007 and 2008, and chaired the former Leyland East area committee from 2007 to 2011.
Leyland St Ambrose Coun Sarah Tomlinson has decided to stand down after almost two years in the role.
And Howick and Priory Coun Mary Robinson will resign from the Penwortham-based ward to focus on running for a parliamentary seat.
Since joining the council in 2007, she chaired the scrutiny committee for two years and has been vice-chairman of the general licensing committee since 2011.
Nomination papers must be delivered to the returning officer by Friday April 5.
If the vacancies are contested, by-elections will be held in those wards on Thursday May 2, to tie in with the Lancashire County Council elections.
