Two organisations are in the running for a health and well-being accolade at the Spirit of Lancashire Awards.
The ceremony, which aims to recognise outstanding voluntary work in local communities, has been organised by The Community Foundation for Lancashire.
It connects donors to the community and provides grants and support to local groups and individuals to help them build a stronger county.
More than 150 guests are expected to attend the event at DeVere Village Herons’ Reach Hotel in Blackpool on Thursday, February 21.
And the shortlist for this year’s awards includes Skerton Community Association and Olive Branch, a Christian charity serving and helping the socially disadvantaged, both from Lancaster.
They will go head-to-head for the health and well-being award.
