Snow showers were expected across Lancashire on Sunday, with forecasters warning temperatures will plunge below zero overnight.
The Met Office said sleet and snow should blow over the county, with the Fylde coast expected to be the worst affected.
Forecasters predict temperatures will nudge up to 4C in Preston on Monday but are likely to fall to minus figures again on Tuesday.
