Elton John is to play a live show in Lancashire in front of 10,000 people this summer.
The rock and roll superstar will play a concert at the newly created Tower Festival Headland, Blackpool, adjacent to The Blackpool Tower on June 16.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday.
Elton John said: “I have played over 3000 concerts – but I haven’t performed in Blackpool for 30 years! So I’m looking forward to revisiting this legendary seaside town and playing on the Golden Mile, right near the Blackpool Tower.
“See you in June!”
Elton has played Blackpool twice before, on November 15 and 16, 1982, when he appeared with his band at the Blackpool Opera House.
