Owners of a converted barn damaged in a fatal traffic incident say work has been completed to allow a road to reopen.

South Ribble Council secured a court order in May requiring the owner of a house on Longmeanygate to make the building safe, allowing the road to be used for the first time since the incident in May last year.

Preston Magistrate’s Court imposed a deadline of Friday July 25 for the owners to complete the work.
