Raffle prizes needed for charity evening

Latest news from the Lancashire Evening Post

Latest news from the Lancashire Evening Post

The organisers of a charity evening are calling on businesses and community members alike to donate raffle prizes.

The fundraiser on Saturday March 30 at Blessed Sacrament Social Centre, Burnside Avenue, Ribbleton, Preston, has been organised by brother and sister Graham Sergeant and Carol Hindle to raise cash for The Katy Holmes Trust, Rosemere Cancer Foundation and children’s charity Clic Sargent.

The siblings, both from Preston, are taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday April 21 to raise money for their chosen charities and to help boost their funds they have organised the charity evening at the popular club, which includes a Neil Diamond tribute act.

The charity night has already sold out, meaning that so far the pair have raised £2,000 but they desperately need some auction prizes for the evening to ensure they can raise as much as possible.

To donate any items or to support the pair in their marathon challenge called Graham on 07957984997.
