Pupils show their passion for science

Pupils from a Lancashire school turned journalists for the day to interview a politician.

Youngsters from Ribby with Wrea Endowed Church of England Primary School, in Wrea Green, near Kirkham, grilled science minister Lord Drayson and Sir Anthony Cleaver, chairman of the Engineering and Technology Board (ETB) as part of the Primary, Secondary and Advanced Leaders Award scheme.

Lord Drayson said: "The pupils who interviewed me were really clued up about science and engineering and had a natural passion and talent for it."
