CCTV: Police are appealing to the public for help

Police have launched an appeal to find a yob who caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

Officers want to identify a man who was caught on CCTV. They want to speak to him in connection with an incident at 8.40pm on Friday, January 17, in Preston city centre.

A man was thrown out of McDonald’s restaurant on Friargate, he kicked in the front window, causing an estimated £500 worth of damage.

A police spokesman said: “The man is described as white, aged in his late teens or early twenties, around 5ft 10, slim to medium build with short dark gelled hair.

“He was wearing a blue hoodie with a grey panel on the front over his shoulders, grey jeans and trainers.

“Anyone with any information about who this male is should contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log reference LC-20140117-1260.”
