Officers from Lancashire Police would like to speak to two men in connection with the assault of a 22 year-old-man in Lancaster

At around 11.30pm on Wednesday August 13 the 22 year old had been in the Yates’s bar with friends when, soon after leaving, the victim was attacked by two males to the rear of the Priory, St Mary’s Parade, Lancaster, who punched the victim in the head three times

He was then taken to Lancaster hospital where he was treated for a fractured jaw.

DC Tristan Hardwick of Lancaster CID said: “This was a serious assault in which the victim has suffered severe facial injuries.

“I am appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with knowledge of who the two men in CCTV images may be, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
