Detectives have released an Evofit image in an appeal for information following a burglary at a house in Morecambe.

The house, on Prestbury Drive in Morecambe, was broken into at around 11.50am on Monday August 13.

The offender, it is believed, had broken in through a window at the rear of the house and searched a number of rooms before being disturbed by one of the occupants of the house as he searched the kitchen.

On being disturbed, the man ran from the house back through the rear of the property.

It is thought the man got away with a wallet and a small amount of jewellery before fleeing the scene and officers are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

Anyone with information can contact police by calling the new non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number BB1203086 or alternatively, information can be passed via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
