Lancashire’s Special Constabulary Chief Officer will be tweeting live from an operation aimed at protecting young people on Friday night.
Chief Officer Nigel Walters will keep his Twitter followers updated with activity and the results of the operation, which will take place in the Ribble Valley, from around 7pm.
The operation is part of the Community Alcohol Network (CAN) – a scheme run by Trading Standards and Lancashire Constabulary aimed at protecting young people and tackling underage drinking.
Chief Officer Walters said: “This is a great way for residents to get a real insight into the work of the police and the sort of operations our Special Constabulary supports.”
