Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious head injuries after a suspected assault in a Lancaster nightclub.
The incident is believed to have taken place at around 4am on Wednesday October 2 at the Revolution Nightclub on Penny Street.
The 30-year-old victim ended up in hospital suffering from serious head injuries including a large cut to the face, a possible broken jaw and neck injury. His injuries are suspected to have been caused by a punch.
DC Trevor Walker from Lancaster CID said: “We are at the early stages of an investigation and are still trying to establish the circumstances of exactly what has happened and how this man came by his injuries.
“It is highly unlikely that this assault has occurred unnoticed so I would appeal to anybody that was in Revolution on Wednesday night that witnessed any assault or commotion to contact police as soon as possible.”
Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Lancashire Police on 101.
