Plans for new units at industrial estate

Two new industrial units could be built at a city business park if plans are given the go ahead.

Proposals are due to go before Preston Council’s planning committee on June 2 for the single storey units, with parking and landscaping, at Red Scar Industrial Estate in Ribbleton.

Plans state that one building would be divided into four units, with the other divided into nine units.

The scheme is recommended for approval, with conditions, and a report states that the proposal would provide “valuable employment space” within an existing industrial estate.
