A person has been hit by a train near Bamber Bridge.
The incident, which happened shortly after 7.20pm on Wednesday, has led to one hour delays on the Preston-Blackburn route.
The National Rail Enquiries service confirmed the delays were caused by a person being hit by a train.
It added: “These delays will continue until further notice.”
A British Transport Police spokesman declined to comment.
