A drunken pensioner launched herself at a police car in Blackpool and threatened to kick the vehicle.
Gillian Robertson was arrested after standing in the middle of the road waving her arms about.
Robertson, aged 63, of Beck View, Lancaster, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
She was fined £35 with £40 costs and £15 victims’ surcharge but Blackpool magistrates said time she had already spent in custody would serve instead of the financial penalties.
Prosecutor, Jane Yates, said on February 19 at 7.50pm a police patrol saw Robertson in the middle of Talbot Road.
When an officer tried to talk to her Robertson swore and shouted: “I don’t talk to police,” before launching herself at the police car yelling: “I own a hotel.”
Gary McAnulty, defending, said his client, who did not own a hotel, had little recollection of the incident. She had spent a total of 36 hours in the cells.
