Police are investigating after reports of nuisance behaviour around a bank of shops in Preston.
Residents in the Deepdale area say problems have been particularly focussed on the area outside the Home Bargains store, at the Deepdale Pavilions arcade.
There have been reports of anti-social behaviour in the area by a local gang, neighbourhood officers have been told.
There are also concerns regarding drug dealing in the area.
The fears were raised at a Police and Communities Together meeting for Deepdale held last month.
