Witnesses are needed by police after a man was assaulted following an altercation in a city centre bar.
The assault took place between 12.30am and 2.30am on Sunday, October 27 when the 26-year-old victim, who was on a night out with a group of friends, was involved in an altercation with another group in Revolution bar in Penny Street, Lancaster.
The victim was ejected from the bar and was walking on Penny Street when he was assaulted by two or three people from the other group, near KFC.
He sustained bruising to his head and face.
Police particularly want to hear from taxi drivers and door staff who attempted to intervene in the incident.
