Police have released images of a naked man who stripped on a train journey.
Officers from British Transport Police are hoping to trace the man who bared all on the Lancaster to Barrow service.
PC Gez Cooper, investigating, said: “A woman in her forties was travelling on a train between Lancaster and Barrow-in-Furness with her teenage daughter.
“She turned around to talk to her daughter and noticed a man, who was with a group of men, had removed all his clothes and was behaving inappropriately towards women passengers.”
Officers obtained images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident on August 11, at about 11.45pm.
PC Cooper continued: “The man’s actions were utterly inappropriate and distressing for many of the passengers on board the service.
“We treat incidents of this nature very seriously and would encourage anyone who was on the train and witnessed what happened to contact us.
“If you recognise the man pictured, or know his whereabouts, we’d like to hear from you.”
