CCTV images have been released by Lancashire Police after a van was stolen from a pub car park.

Officers would like to speak to the men in captured in the area at the time of the theft of a vehicle which contained thousands of pounds worth of tools.

A white Mercedes Sprinter van was parked in the car park of the Kings Arms on High Street, Garstang when it was broken into and stolen at around 6.45am on February 4th.

The van contained over £3,000 of tools and was spotted at a petrol station on the A6 at Churchtown around 15minutes later and then drove away in the direction of Broughton.

PC Rachel Bibby said: “An investigation is underway but I would appeal to anybody that recognises any of the men in the CCTV or with any other information about this offence to come forward and contact us.

“These tools were the victim’s livelihood and we’re doing all we can to try and reunite him with his property.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lancashire Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
