Man divorced after computer game 'affair'

A couple are to divorce after one of them had a virtual reality "affair".

Amy Taylor said she had left husband David Pollard and filed for divorce, citing "unreasonable behaviour", because she found his character in an internet game having an online affair.

Ms Taylor, 28, from Newquay, Cornwall, who met her husband in an internet chatroom, told the Western Morning News she found his character having sex with another in the game Second Life, which involves players creating their own personal characters, called avatars, which can then explore a virtual world.
