A motorist could be facing jail after admitting causing the death of a BAE worker.

Brian Creasey, 50, of Riverside, Clitheroe, pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving after cyclist Ian Hammel was killed in the collision on the A59 close to the entrance of BAE Systems in Samlesbury, near Preston.

Mr Hammel, 53, from Penwortham, was employed at the site and worked as an engineer on the F-35 Lightning II programme, helping build the tail section of the jets.
