Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself in the street to a young male jogger.

The 16-year-old victim was out running in Leyland at around 2:30pm on Saturday 23rd of November when he came across a group of two men and a woman in Leyland Lane shouting and swearing.

Officers say that to avoid the group the victim crossed the road. But, as he did, one of the men deliberately followed him, crossing over to the same side of the road, dropping his tracksuit bottoms and exposing himself to the teenager, laughing as he did so before running back to the group.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time to come forward.

The man who exposed himself is described as white, of slim build and around six feet four inches tall with short, black spiked hair. He was wearing a black puffa jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.

PC Emma Devereux said: “This was very distressing for the victim and we are very keen to speak to any witnesses to come forward to help us catch the man responsible.”
