A man in his 60s has died following a collision on a supermarket car park.
The collision happened at around 12.10pm on Tuesday afternoon when a Honda Civic and a Toyota Avensis collided on Booths car park on Park Hill Road in Garstang, Preston.
It is believed that the male driver of the Toyota, may have fallen ill at the wheel but officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.
The driver of the Toyota, a man in his mid 60s from the Cabus area, was taken to hospital where he sadly passed away yesterday.
The driver of the Honda was unhurt.
Sergeant Dave Hogarth from the Road Policing Unit said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the car park at the time and witnessed what happened to contact police on 101 quoting log number LC-20131022-0468.”
