The body of a man has been found hanging in the grounds of a Lancashire school.
Police were called to Balshaw’s High School on Church Lane, Leyland, at around 6pm on Thursday evening after a member of the public found the body hanging from a tree.
A spokesman confirmed the body of a man, in his 40s, was founded in a wooded area close to the school.
She said: “We are now trying to establish who he is and making inquiries to get this information.”
A number of police cars and an ambulance were at the school in the evening to begin investigation work.
