A man has appeared in court after throwing missiles at a pregnant woman and her baby in St Annes.
Anthony McPartland hurled a mug at the woman and a lighter which hit her one-year-old baby girl.
McPartland, 23, formerly of St Albans Road, St Annes, now living in Ellerbeck Road, Ribbleton, Preston, pleaded guilty to assaulting mother and daughter. He also admitted damaging the child’s pram and a door.
He was bailed for pre-sentence reports on the condition he lived at his given address.
Prosecutor, Brett Gerrity, said the offence took place on September 22. Defence lawyer, Imran Majid, asked for reports on his client.
