A motorist walked away with minor injuries after ending upside down in a tree at the side of a Lancashire motorway.
The driver of the Honda CRV collided with a crash barrier on the outside lane of the northbound M6 close to the works entrance at Stubbins Lane, near Garstang, at 3.10pm on Tuesday.
A Highways Agency spokesman said the car overturned and was left on top of trees on the other side of the barrier.
He added: “Traffic officers from the Motorway Police unit at Samlesbury attended along with Highways Agency engineers to recover the car.
“The motorist walked away with only minor injuries.”
The driver was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary for a routine check and the outside lane of the carriageway, between Junctions 32 and 33, was closed for around 15 minutes.
