Lancashire man missing from home

Missing Lancaster man Keith Longton

Missing Lancaster man Keith Longton

Police are appealing for information about a man who has gone missing from his home in Lancaster.

Keith Longton, 39, left his farm in Abbeystead on Sunday at around 1pm and has not been seen since around 9am yesterday morning by a friend.

He is described as bring 5ft 10in tall with short light brown hair.

He was wearing a black T- shirt and jeans, a grey fleece and boots when he was last seen.

It is believed he may be around the Abbeystead area of Lancaster.

Insp Mark Turner, from Lancaster police, said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have seen Keith over the past 24 hours to come forward and contact the police.

“We believe that he may be in the Abbeystead area and would urge people walking in the area to remain vigilant and look out for him.

“Understandably his family are concerned for his welfare and want to know that he is safe and well.

“If anyone has any information then I would urge them to call Lancaster police on 101.”

People with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or, alternatively, go on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded.
